Wi-Fi is on, but the laptop cannot see or connect to the network

- You are using a driver pack to automatically install drivers.

In the first four cases, the Wi-Fi adapter may not work as it should, even if the device manager shows that it is working properly. In the fourth case, it is possible that the wireless device does not exist at all in the system (i.e. Windows does not know about it, although it does exist physically). Wi-Fi won’t turn on after updating Windows 10
