What to reply when someone asks what's your story? ›

"Thank you for asking about me. It's a rare quality that people actually want to take the time to know each other's stories. I think if I had to sum up what I'm about, I would say I love to encourage people.

If you speak from the heart about your passions, strengths and goals, your interviewer's response can give you a good sense of whether the job will give you the opportunities for growth that you're looking for. Be ready to talk about a few experiences that shaped your strengths and goals.

You can start by mentioning your education and early roles and working your way up to the present, or you can start from the present and work backward. Either way, it's good to end with your goals for the future and how you see the role fitting into that.

In THIS IS OUR STORY, five boys go on an early morning hunt after a late night of partying and drinking, but only four come out alive. Flatter them with a compliment.

Mention something about how they look or what you appreciate from their Story. Use emojis and exclamation points to really show your enthusiasm. Your crush will smile seeing your replies and may even reply back. “Wow 😍 that dress looks amazing on you!”

Instagram stories allow you to post photos or videos that automatically disappear within 24 hours. This feature includes the Reply option, which allows users to reply to your stories. If you have Instagram integrated in your instance, these story replies will be created as Instagram direct messages.

Focus on non-judgmental, compassionate responses which help reduce shame. You might say “I'm so sorry you had to experience that,” or “you didn't deserve that, and you deserve support now,” or “I want you to know you're not alone,” or “you did what you have to do to survive.”

You can find the message of a story by looking at the characters' actions and focusing on what is repeated throughout the story.

The main idea of a story is the central idea or concept that the author wants to portray through the narrative, characters, and settings. The main idea can either be explicit, which means it's directly stated in the story, or it can be implied, which means it's not directly stated in the story.
