At the beginning of the article, I hinted that the 15.6-inch HP Pavilion Power 15 is fairly easy to transport. For a man in his prime, yes, because the laptop weighs only 2.2 kg. The laptop lid opens approximately 150 degrees. While typing and playing at the table, I did not notice even a hint of play, however, if you put the laptop on your lap, the screen starts to sway noticeably during typing. The design of the cover of the HP Pavilion Power 15 is to blame, it is designed in such a way that the bottom rises slightly when it is opened. This allows the cooling fans to suck in air better. At the very bottom, you can find a small air duct grill and four green rubber feet.
All major interfaces are located on the sides. On the left. two USB 3.0 A-types and a combined 3.5 mm mini-jack for connecting a headset. But if you need the F1-F12 keys, then you cannot do without a combination with the Fn-button. This scheme is not very suitable for gaming, but it can be changed in the BIOS settings of the laptop. The picture is complemented by a buttonless wide touchpad from Synaptics measuring 115 × 60 mm: pleasant to the touch, ringing, but not rattling and recognizing gestures well.
Finally, the laptop is equipped with a 1080p 30Hz webcam. The image quality of the camera is poor. Indoors, under artificial lighting, the picture is very noisy. A satisfactory image from it can only be achieved in bright ambient light.
Internal structure and upgrade options
Access to HP Pavilion Power 15 components is quite convenient. Although first you have to unscrew seven screws on the bottom, two of which are hidden under the rubber feet. Then you need to carefully remove the bottom. Plastic latches are used in the design, so you need to act decisively, but at the same time try not to overdo it.
The cooling system, at first glance, looks rather primitive. The CPU and GPU are cooled by a single design consisting of two heat pipes and two fans. However, I will talk about the efficiency of the HP Pavilion Power 15 SO further.

The battery life of the laptop was tested in three modes.
