How to customize a screenshot on Samsung

Special abilities

  • Using the Assistant Menu, you can quickly access the basic features of your Samsung phone. This function can be useful for users with some kind of physical impairment, for example, lack of coordination in movements. By default, the “Auxiliary Menu” is disabled, so go to the “Accessibility” section of the settings,

find the option and move the “slider” next to it to the “ON” position.

At the right time, open the menu using the floating button and fix the screen.

Using gestures

  • You can create a screen on the Galaxy A51 with a palm gesture. This is a quick way, but it does not always work out the first time, and sometimes you have to enable the option itself. We move to the section with additional functions in the device settings,

and then, among the possible movements and gestures, we find and activate the “Screenshot of the screen with the palm of your hand”.

To take a picture, you need to swipe across the display with the edge of your palm.

Scrolling snapshot

  • This function takes a long screenshot to connect multiple screens at once, which can be scrolled down. At the same time, there is no need to enable this option, since it will automatically become available at the right time. Now, using any of the methods already described, we make a screen, then press the arrow button, wait for the screen to scroll and press it again. Thus, we capture the required number of screens.

Image storage location

We look for the created pictures in the “Gallery” application.

Or, using the file manager, we find the “Screenshots” folder in the smartphone’s memory.

Combination of physical buttons

We use a special panel to open the snapshot in the editor

If the mentioned socket is not displayed, you can connect it. To do this, go to the system settings section, which contains additional functions.,

then among the parameters of the screenshots we find the desired option and enable it.

You can access the created screenshot from the notification area. Here you can simply open it

Standard features

There are several options to capture the contents of the Samsung Galaxy A51 screen without installing additional software.

Another way to make a screen on the A51 with the edge of the palm

I already mentioned you can take a screenshot on a51 with the edge of your palm right away when you pull it out of the box and make the initial settings.

To do this, the edge of the palm must be drawn in such a way that it touches the screen slightly from the beginning to the end and must be carried out quickly.

When I first did it the first three times, it didn’t work out for me, but now everything is going with a bang. One piece of advice for your studies.

Choose a place on the screen so that the screen cannot move to the left, then learn faster. Witness that the snapshot display will blink.

I will not describe how to take a screenshot through Bixby now; initially it will need to be taught Russian.

Yes, I almost forgot. in a51 it is allowed to take a long screenshot, no matter how long.

Just select the page with scrolling and as soon as you make the buttons from the bottom immediately press the second button from the left (with an arrow pointing down).

To do this, I will write a separate entry, and so most of them will not read until this place, the first method is enough, unless someone wants to know where to find the skins.

Ways to Take Screenshot on Samsung A51 2020

I recently talked about 6 useful, but hidden functions of your phone (A51), now we will consider another equally useful and very popular function.

Galaxy a51 2020 runs on OS 10 with OneUI 2.0 (now OneUI 2.5 and will soon receive Android 11) and a screenshot is taken a bit differently compared to Galaxy phones of previous years.

Even with respect to the a50, for example, you had to turn on the screenshot yourself with a gesture, and on the Samsung Galaxy a51 its updated version is already included.

Also, earlier, when the power button was pressed for a long time in the phone, as a rule, a shutdown or reboot menu appeared.

Bixby will now launch immediately. In general, he is a good contraption, only initially you need to tinker with him.

Although they say that this is an updated version, there are many differences, especially the appearance of another camera, and the manufacturer has eliminated many problems, which infuriated many of the fifty.

However, I moved away from the main topic of Samsung a51 (probably because I just bought it now and pulled it out of the box for at least an hour).

The first way to take a screenshot on the A51 2020

I recently told you how to record a screen on the A51, now I will describe how to take a screenshot. First, find the location you want to capture. Now quickly press and release the “Volume Down” and “Power” buttons at the same time.

This will save it and, if you want to view or share it, you will quickly find it in the gallery. At the same time, if earlier it was necessary to hold the buttons a little bit, now on the Samsung a51 you need to instantly press and release.

Otherwise, shutdown, restart and emergency call will start. This is just one of the possible options.

There are at least two more built-in palm and through bixby. The latter is available by voice.

Where on Samsung a51 are the screenshots taken

You can certainly find them in the gallery. This is if you share or just watch, but if you want to transfer, for example, to a computer, then the gallery will not work.

Then you need to open the folder with the internal memory, then follow the path DCIM Screenshots.

It is there that you will find screenshots, while the pictures will not be there, they are in another folder. That’s, in fact, all that I wanted to share.

And if you take a screenshot with any of the options I described, it doesn’t matter. Let me know in the Комментарии и мнения владельцев and we will definitely solve this problem. Success.

Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. How To Take a Screenshot

The fourth way is with scrolling the screen

To do this, we will take a screenshot with scrolling, you need to use one of the first two methods.

Then, from the options displayed at the bottom of the screen, select the one called “Scrolling Capture”.

It is important to note that we will only have this option when possible (there will be more content under it).

Then you can edit it. To draw or mark something you must first create it.

Then, from the options below, select the one called crop or paint. If you paint, then choose a color and paint what we want. Finally, click “Save”.

We do the same when we want to crop. Then we move the frames and cut where we want. At the end. “Save”.

The first way is with buttons

Samsung a50 2019, unlike its older brothers, did not receive a real-life button that you can touch “Home”.

Previously, on all samsungs, it was with its help that it was possible to take a screenshot of the screen. now, apparently, in order to make it less permeable, it was replaced with a touchscreen.

As a result of this change, the button to take a screenshot migrated from “Home” to “Reduce sound”.

Therefore, now to make screenshots you need to quickly press and release the combination “Home” “Reduce voice”.

Is it convenient? As for me, not, especially at the beginning. Probably, only from the tenth time I learned to do it.

I think you will not like it very much, but nevertheless we have what we have, and who wants a simpler option, let’s go further.

Let’s see how to take a screenshot on Samsung using only the volume and off keys. The methods are pretty simple.

How to take a screenshot on a Samsung phone?

The smartphones of this company usually have the built-in Android operating system, on which it is very easy to take a picture of the screen. Why is it needed?

The screenshot can come in handy in various situations. For example, you have some kind of error and you need to explain the essence of the problem to technical support, but you don’t understand how to do it without a snapshot. In this case, the screenshot will certainly help. A snapshot can also come in handy during active games on a smartphone, for example, to save game moments or your statistics in the phone’s memory. If you went to the “Gallery” of your phone and did not find a picture there, then look in the “My files” folder. Also folders with screenshots can have the following names: Pictures, Screenshots, ScreenCapture. All methods, like on “Samsung” to take a screenshot of the screen, are indicated in this article above.

Sometimes the function is active by default, you can take pictures immediately, without additional settings.

    • release immediately or hold for 1-2 seconds.
