  • Select one of the available items:
    • Computer only. the projector will be turned off, the image will remain only on the main screen;
    • Duplicate. the image from the main monitor will be copied by the projector;
    • Extend. the work area will be the same for the projector and computer. In this case, the main monitor will always be on the left side of the virtual space.
    • Only the second screen. the image will only remain on the wall of the projector.
    • In Windows 10, the naming of items is slightly different from those in previous versions.

      If you are using a laptop, there will be an additional (Fn) button on the keyboard, allowing you to instantly switch the display mode.

      By following these steps, you can easily achieve a positive result by successfully connecting and setting up your projector.

      Connecting the Projector to a Computer

      As a monitor or TV, you can use a projector as an additional means of outputting a signal from a computer. Next, we will tell you about all the most fundamental nuances regarding the mentioned process.

      Some programs may require individual projector settings, but this is quite rare.

      Setting up work with an additional screen

      Settings for working with the additional screen can be done in two ways: using the “Windows Mobility Center” and using the desktop settings.

      Let’s consider each of them in more detail.

      Setting up signal transmission and reception

      The correct settings will have to be set both on the TV and on the laptop. Let’s start with the first.

      To do this, on the remote control, you need to press the button responsible for setting the signal sources (most often it is called “input” and is indicated by an arrow pointing inside the square):

      • Wireless connection. Notebooks with Core i3 processors and above are equipped with a wireless TV connection system. True, this only works with the latest multifunctional TVs. In addition, after reinstalling the OS, the necessary drivers may NOT remain.

      With the above information, establishing a connection between two devices will no longer be a problem.

      Cable connection

      For the devices to detect each other, both must be turned on. After making sure that they work, you can take the cable and get close to the TV connector block.

      Connect the plug of the cable to the Corresponding jack. It should look like this:
