Population

The Municipality of Leamington is a beautiful community, home to 28,000 permanent and 7,000 temporary residents. As a part of the Greater Windsor-Essex County area, Leamington is within a one hour drive of an additional 400,000 residents.

Workforce

Leamington’s labour force is made up of over 15,000 residents who are skilled in a variety of trades and industries such as agribusiness, manufacturing, and professional services.

Leamington has a diverse workforce, with residents from over 150 different backgrounds and who speak 70 different languages.

Leamington is situated near university and college campuses in Windsor, Chatham and Ridgetown. Our community provides easy access to new graduates and apprenticeships, co-ops or other programs to add professional and skilled talent to their workforce.
