A few members of our leadership team, including Cathy Miller, CEO; Karyn McCue, Manager Home and Living Options; and Joe Gannon, Senior Manager Specialist Services, went on a trip to Thailand last week to present a 3-day workshop on daily living improvement, capacity enhancement and independence, as well as in-home support and encouraging ageing in place. The presentation also covered positive behaviour support and dementia care. This opportunity was organised and hosted by Thailand’s Department of Older Persons (DOP) and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our knowledge of the sector and pass on important information to changemakers, to help support the local government, practitioners, and others in the sector to make positive change in Thailand. #Australia #Thailand #RegisteredNDISProvider
