The original French Colonial buildings in the historic neighborhood of the French Quarter in New Orleans were destroyed the Great New Orleans Fire of 1788 and another major fire in 1794. Built by Lucien Tyng and his wife Ethel, the Four Fountains estate was originally an Art Deco-styled arts center for the community until it was bought by Archibald M. Brown, the building’s architect, and convert it into his summer home.

It was later on purchased by CBS CEO, William Paley and now, it is on the market for the first time, priced at $35 million.
